Budapest Luggage Storage Guide 2026
Located near the Slovakian border, Budapest is one of Europe’s top destinations and, unsurprisingly, seduces travelers from around the world each year. The city is home to historical landmarks, impressive buildings, hot springs, and Ferenc Puskas, one of the best football players of all time! Fun fact: Budapest is the world's only capital with a reservoir producing over 70 million thermal water. There are plenty of thermal baths worth visiting scattered around the city of Budapest. So if you crave a little time in the hot spring, you have come to the right place! Now let us go back in time! Before Budapest became the city it is today, the location was home to Celts, who occupied the land back in the 4th century. However, later, the Romans conquered the city, which brought the construction of a fortress and the town of Aquincum that you can find in Budapest today. In the 5th century, the Romans were kicked out by the nomadic people, the Huns. And by the end of the 9th century, the Hungarian conquest began with the Kingdom of Hungary founded at the end of the 11th century. Centuries later, in 1873, by merging the three neighboring cities of Pest, Buda, and Obuda, the city of Budapest was officially established. You want to avoid dragging your big luggage as you stroll around Budapest. Totally understandable. Available around many locations in Budapest, Nannybag will store your bags safely so you can travel comfortably. Read on for more information on how Nannybag works!
